librarything

I have checked Delicious and Technorati, I found both to be unweildy, but I loved Library thing; I think it will be more useful for me

youtube

I have watched only half a video, this internet connection is very slow and I haven't had the patience to sit and wait for ages for the videos to load. I guess those sites would be useful, but only if the connection is fast.

wiki learning

I have successfully added to the RRL wiki, Rivitaliser. I added a favourite website, the Sydney Morning Herald.

rss feeds

I can see that RSS feeds will be very useful and save a lot of time. I chose several library blogs, mostly Australian ones for relevance.

exploring flickr

http://www.flickr.com/photos/echidna/116770773/ This photo is supposedly of Temora Cemetery, but was taken at Gundagai. Why would anyone want to take a photo in a cemetery anyway?
I'm learning how to create a blog and listening to the plain English version of how to create a blog, and the narrator has a very annoying American accent. Pity that there isn't a plain Australian version. I hope to be dragged kicking and screaming into this century. Lifelong Learning is something we do anyway; the saying is 'you learn something new every day'. I haven't discovered any other blogs yet. I don't know whether I would use blogs in the library.
